With many years of experience working with dogs, we are dedicated to tailoring our service to perfectly suit your wedding day. Whether you wish for your dog to play a special role in your ceremony or simply require attentive care and comfort throughout the event, we work closely with you to create a truly bespoke package.
We recognise that weddings can be busy, loud, and emotionally overwhelming environments. Not every dog feels comfortable in crowds or around heightened noise, part of loving them is understanding their individual needs and limits. You can enjoy your celebration knowing they are in the very best hands. From on-site chaperoning to overnight care, every aspect is considered. We want to ensure your dog is safe, happy, and fully looked after, allowing you to relax and enjoy every moment of your celebration.
We are currently based across Edinburgh, the Lothians and Borders. But, we are more than happy to discuss travelling further afield to support your special day.
For your peace of mind, Wedding Tails Scotland is fully DBS checked, covered by public liability insurance, and members of the Pet Industry Federation. We are also all trained in an accredited canine first aid and CPR course.

We are here to ensure your dog can be included in all of life’s special events, whether that be birthdays, family gatherings, reunions, or memorials. Each occasion is approached with the same level of care and attention, creating a thoughtful and seamless experience for both you and your beloved companion.
We also recognise the profound comfort our pets provide during more emotional times, such as memorials and celebrations of life. The bond we share with our dogs can be incredibly powerful, offering reassurance and a sense of closeness when it is needed most. Through our service, your dog can be present in a calm, supported way, surrounded by familiar people and environments.
As part of the continued growth of “Wedding Tails and Other Stories” offering, we are also exploring the addition of childcare services for weddings and events. Emma is a paediatric nurse with 25 years experience. We have PVG certification and hope to introduce this service in the near future. In the meantime, we would be delighted to discuss your needs and how we may be able to assist. We love children as much as dogs!
